We could not be more excited to announce our WINE SHOWCASE with Skurnik Wine & Spirits!
Join us on Sunday – August 2nd, 2026 from 1pm-4pm for a deep dive into this stunning portfolio with a tasting of 30+ wines, plus an ability to add on the “CHAMPAGNE ROOM” exclusive to taste some of the world’s greatest Grower Champagnes.
Skurnik Wine & Spirits is an absolutely stunning custodian of great wine coming into this country and has been helping Nouvelle Bar & Bottle bring some of the best selections into this community for years. Their portfolio is chock full of so much tantalizing juice and it is simply mind blowing. This event will give you a whirlwind glimpse into just how deep this group rolls. You will not want to miss this awesome little day of wine.
Tickets get you a tasting glass with free rein to taste wines throughout the duration of event + a presale sheet (all wines will be available for purchase at a discounted price during the event).
“The Champagne Room” is an exclusive area dedicated to all those bubble heads to explore some of the greatest Grower producers around. We will be showcasing a bunch of fantastic bottles throughout the event. This element can be added on as an additional supplement to the day.

Australia is a vast landscape but a very unlikely place to grow grapes, but as we will dive deep into the history surrounding it's relatively young wine growing culture we will also show why it is possible to grow amazing wine there. Take a joinery down under with us to discover some very exciting producers putting their mark on the wine scene!

CHAMPAGNE CLASS: Garth Hodgdon “One Bottle Review” LIVE (MONDAY - August 17th @ 7PM)
We are beyond excited to welcome our friend and fellow obsessive Champagne evangelist - Garth Hodgdon from Cage Imports & Champagne Happy Hour! On top of importing some of the freshest new Champagne producers into the states with his wife Cart, Garth is also a fixture on social media with his "One Bottle Review" video segments, that have taken the wine community by storm. They also run Champagne Happy Hour which is an online club for other bubble heads.
Join us for a live "ONE BOTTLE REVIEW" interview between Garth and Nouvelle's Champagne Master - John Grisanti as they discuss the new wave of Champagne producers and wax poetic about all the reason why this region, its people, and ultimately this beverage are the greatest gift to humanity! You will be introduced to some of Cage Imports best wines during this session as we taste along together!

There is no other wine region in the world that is steeped in more mythical lore than Burgundy! An incredible rich history with an intense sense of place (terroir), this are is legendary. You never forget the first time you tasted one of these wines.
Our Sommelier John Grisanti had the incredible honor to visit this region and some of it's greatest producers earlier in March. He will be taking us on a first hand journey and deep dive of this region while we taste through an absolutely stunning line up of the wines that shaped his experience.

Come with us as the only CHAMPAGNE MASTER (French Wine Scholar Guild) in the state of Kentucky, John Grisanti, takes us a on a seriously deep dive of this mythical beverage & region.
We will discuss not only what makes this land so special but also the laws regarding the process which keep the standards (and price) so high! We will taste through four different styles and sub-regions from our some of absolute favorite GROWER (small family estate) producers.

Joe Banet, a legend of the LA food scene and former chef of too many award winning Louisville restaurants to count, will be slinging some his iconic and blindingly delicious bites, while our good friends from BRAZUKAS will keep us swinging with their grooving Brazil funk!

We wanted to throw a totally un-serious CHAMPAGNE SUMMER Party this year so we asked our friends Garth & Cat Hodgdon from Champagne Happy Hour / Cage Imports to help us make the Louisville bubble scene really explode!
Join us on Sunday - August 16th, 2026 from 1pm-6pm as we pop and ridiculous amount of Champagne, including some really really BIG BOTTLES from Cage Imports who is sourcing some of the freshest new producers coming out of Champagne. This beautiful cru is bringing their Champagne Happy Hour community straight to Nouvelle! To really make this event slap we asked our James Beard nominated bud Noam Bilitzer and his team at Meesh Meesh to pair some delectable treats with our bubbles by setting up shop with his over the top RAW BAR seafood pop up! We also got the boys of Wanna Dance DJs spinning the grooves to keep the vibes bumping all afternoon.
Swim suits & beach wear highly encouraged because things might get a little wet in this August heat!

Join us on Sunday - September 13th, 2026 from 1pm-6pm to celebrate your favorite old school HIP-HOP tracks while drinking a silly collection of French BURGUNDY wines and eating seriously tasty BURGERS from the legendary chef - Joe Banet!
This is going to be one hell of a throw down. We are pulling out a lot of fun wines from our cellars and making a silly list of glass pours while vibing out to the classic tracks that have shaped the foundation of HIP-HOP. Joe Banet has cooked all over the world only to realize the greatest bite off food to ever exist is the classic BURGER! Help us squeeze one last patio party out before the cold temps come rolling in.

Come by every weekend (Friday & Saturday) in the summer to enjoy jazz in Nouvelle’s garden. You will catch some of Louisville’s finest jazz musicians playing some super deep cuts while you sip on wine and cocktails.

TUESDAY TOASTS:
As you know, we are totally obsessed with Champagne! We have a “Completely Irresponsible” and award-winning Champagne list plus our owner John Grisanti is the only CHAMPAGNE MASTER (French Wine Scholar Guild) in Kentucky.
Now we are taking that obsession to new absurdities in our program by launching “TUESDAY TOASTS”
Starting in October we will be picking a different cuvee of Champagne from our favorite producers to pour by the glass every Tuesday! You heard us right! CHAMPAGNE BY THE GLASS – EVERY TUESDAY!
It is going to be an incredible way to try an ever-evolving selection of terroir expressions and house styles. Trust us when we say there won’t be any duds in these picks and we are bound to pull some pretty silly out right bangers along the way!

BIG BOTTLE THURSDAYS
You know we love big bottles and we cannot lie …
Starting in October we decided to let the weekend start early, so every Thursday we will popping a fresh MAGNUM to pour by the glass.
Some things are just more fun in a large format and our big bottle selections are bound to get wild. Thursday will be an excellent way to try some really special wines that aren’t always available at Nouvelle and certainly will be a blast to pour for ya!
