WINE EDUCATION: Champagne Deep Dive W/ Cedric Mousse (Monday - November 10th @ 7pm)
If there was ever an ambassador for Champagne in the world, it would have to be CEDRIC MOUSSE!
In this addition of our wine class series we are bringing Famille Mousse Champagne house to Nouvelle.
Hailing from the tiny village of Cuisles in the Vallee De La Marne, Cedric Mousse, has become a dear friend of Nouvelle. Earlier this year we had the pleasure of not just visiting the winery with this mad man, but we stayed the night on the property and now it is our privilege to return that gesture of hospitality by welcoming Cedric and his absolutely incredible wines to Kentucky for a few days.
This class will be a deep dive interview between Cedric & John Grisanti where many stories will be shared while we sip through a knock out line up of his stellar cuvees, including some sections that are exclusive to Nouvelle. Do not miss the very intimate experience with one of the great Champagne vignerons in the world today!

Hailing from right outside Epernay JM Seleque is producing some of the most praise Champagnes we have tasted in a while. We will have a special assortments of his different cubes that will pair perfectly with our WORLD FAMOUS CHILI!

To celebrate the festive occasion, we are going BIG!
This year our dear friend, Cedric Mousse from Famille Mousse Champagne house, is flying in all the way from his village of Cuisles to help us open the biggest bottle of Champagne in the state of Kentucky – a 12L (BALTHAZAR) of his “Eugene” Perpetualle Champagne. We will be pouring it by the glass all day long until the bottle kicks so we need your help to finish it!
Join us on Sunday – November 9th from 1pm to 6pm to help us celebrate this crazy journey and give our buddy from Champagne the greatest welcome party ever! Do not miss a chance to drink a glass from the biggest bottle we have ever opened and to cheers with the man who made the wine!

Beaujolais Nouveau Party W/ GRIZZ’s Famous Cassoulet
Oh yeah, you know what’s up!
Join us on Thursday - November 20th @ 5pm! We are throwing a party on Beaujolais Nouveau day (The 3rd Thursday In November) to celebrate the incredible crunchy Gamey grape made famous by the region of BEAUJOLAIS!
This year we have secured a totally stunning lineup up of all 10 CRUS (the best sites and vineyards) from some of the most incredible producers around. Also it’s not enough to just drink great wine, so GRIZZ is cooking up the classic French dish - CASSOULET!

GROWERS NOT SHOWERS - Champagne Party
It is back!
We are beyond excited to announce our 4th annual “Growers Not Showers” party, on Saturday - February 21st, 2026 @ 6pm.
We are obsessed with Champagne produced from small family-owned estates (GROWERS) so to celebrate that love, we are throwing an all-out party with our James Beared Nominated friend chef Noam Bilitzer & his spectacular team of Meesh Meesh.
This event will feature an open Champagne bar with pours from some of our favorite producers including: Mousse & Fils, Rene Geoffroy, Chartogne Taillet, Pierre Paillard, A Bergere, Laherte Feres, amongst many others + a few BIG bottles to really spread the joy! There will be an absurdly sensational spread of bites, decadent raw bar, and the now iconic fried chicken / caviar cart along with many other surprises ! We are bringing in a DJ to spin those great vibes all night so buckle up y'all.

TUESDAY TOASTS:
As you know, we are totally obsessed with Champagne! We have a “Completely Irresponsible” and award-winning Champagne list plus our owner John Grisanti is the only CHAMPAGNE MASTER (French Wine Scholar Guild) in Kentucky.
Now we are taking that obsession to new absurdities in our program by launching “TUESDAY TOASTS”
Starting in October we will be picking a different cuvee of Champagne from our favorite producers to pour by the glass every Tuesday! You heard us right! CHAMPAGNE BY THE GLASS – EVERY TUESDAY!
It is going to be an incredible way to try an ever-evolving selection of terroir expressions and house styles. Trust us when we say there won’t be any duds in these picks and we are bound to pull some pretty silly out right bangers along the way!

BIG BOTTLE THURSDAYS
You know we love big bottles and we cannot lie …
Starting in October we decided to let the weekend start early, so every Thursday we will popping a fresh MAGNUM to pour by the glass.
Some things are just more fun in a large format and our big bottle selections are bound to get wild. Thursday will be an excellent way to try some really special wines that aren’t always available at Nouvelle and certainly will be a blast to pour for ya!
