We are super excited to announce the return of one of our favorite events - BEATS, BITES & BURGUNDY!
Join us on Sunday - September 13th, 2026 from 1pm-6pm to celebrate your favorite old school HIP-HOP tracks while drinking a silly collection of French BURGUNDY wines and eating seriously tasty BURGERS & HOTDOGS from our friends at TRELLIS BREWING!
This is going to be one hell of a throw down. We are pulling out a lot of fun wines from our cellars and making a silly list of glass pours while vibing out to the classic tracks that have shaped the foundation of HIP-HOP. TRELLIS BREWING will be on site slinging fully loaded BURGERS & HOTDOGS all day long for a mind bending “Hi-brow / Lo-Brow” pairing with these epic BURGUNDIES!

PRODUCER VISIT - Boekenhoutskloof
We are super pumped to welcome our dear friend, @lyntonkaiser from the historic South African winery – @boekenhoutskloof in the iconic Franschhoek Valley on Tuesday - September 29th!
We are letting @lyntonkaiser take over the bar for an evening to pour an insane collection of their incredible wines from the Franschhoek Valley and Hemel En Aarde regions. It is sure to be a LEKKER good time! We will have a truly wild one of kind lineup, that will give guests a unique ability to taste side by side / back vintages through three distinct flights. Trust us when we say, this is a very rare and special opportunity to explore not just an iconic producer but the effects of age on wine and vintage variations.

@johnettanomyces had the incredible privilege to visit this winery in the fall of 2025, where he fell in love with not just the gorgeous estate, but also the elegant wines and most of all of the people behind the juice. @lyntonkaiser was so generous that the following day he took John out in Cape Town for an epic afternoon of deep diving through the new wine culture shaping South Africa. His passion had a profound impact on John and is the key inspiration in the menu development at @mill_iron4 where John is consulting on the wine program that emphasizes Southern Hemisphere grilling cultures.

There is no other wine region in the world that is steeped in more mythical lore than Burgundy! An incredible rich history with an intense sense of place (terroir), this are is legendary. You never forget the first time you tasted one of these wines.
Our Sommelier John Grisanti had the incredible honor to visit this region and some of it's greatest producers earlier in March. He will be taking us on a first hand journey and deep dive of this region while we taste through an absolutely stunning line up of the wines that shaped his experience.

We believe that CHAMPAGNE is the greatest beverage in the world! And when we say CHAMPAGNE we mean specifically that deliriously seductive bubbly from a very specific region of France.
Come with us as the only CHAMPAGNE MASTER (French Wine Scholar Guild) in the state of Kentucky, John Grisanti, takes us a on a seriously deep dive of this mythical beverage & region.
We will discuss not only what makes this land so special but also the laws regarding the process which keep the standards (and price) so high! We will taste through four different styles and sub-regions from our some of absolute favorite GROWER (small family estate) producers.

As you know, we are totally obsessed with Champagne! We have a “Completely Irresponsible” and award-winning Champagne list plus our owner John Grisanti is the only CHAMPAGNE MASTER (French Wine Scholar Guild) in Kentucky.
Now we are taking that obsession to new absurdities in our program by launching “TUESDAY TOASTS”
Starting in October we will be picking a different cuvee of Champagne from our favorite producers to pour by the glass every Tuesday! You heard us right! CHAMPAGNE BY THE GLASS – EVERY TUESDAY!
It is going to be an incredible way to try an ever-evolving selection of terroir expressions and house styles. Trust us when we say there won’t be any duds in these picks and we are bound to pull some pretty silly out right bangers along the way!

BIG BOTTLE THURSDAYS
You know we love big bottles and we cannot lie …
Starting in October we decided to let the weekend start early, so every Thursday we will popping a fresh MAGNUM to pour by the glass.
Some things are just more fun in a large format and our big bottle selections are bound to get wild. Thursday will be an excellent way to try some really special wines that aren’t always available at Nouvelle and certainly will be a blast to pour for ya!
Come by Thursdays to taste some pretty exclusive big bois!
